Summary:
Usually, at the time of the biometric recognition are used
either a verification method or an identification method. The article is
proposed comparative analysis of their rate (Throughput), reliability and
ergonomics. Conclusion is made: identification method characterized by high
throughput and ergonomic and verification method characterized by high
reliability. There is offered approach, when in the system are used
verification and identification methods at the same time, so that to preserve
these three parameters on the acceptable level. There is discussed adaptive algorithm,
when the system itself goes from the identification method on the verification
method and vice versa to increase reliability.

Summary:
The paper presents a
biometric management model for voting process. There are given two kind of architecture
of biometric system and their comparative analysis. There is proposed electoral
system for local destination, which uses biometric identification of voters on
a registration stage, but voting process is free and occurs by using of
electronic bulletins. There is discussed some algorithms of system
functioning.
